  • 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 2 tablespoon white wine vinegar (or white balsamic)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (extra-virgin)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (extra-virgin)
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced (or pressed through a garlic press which helps up the "garlicky-ness")
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
