  • 1 cup nuts
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup seedless raisins

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix diced apples, sugar and nuts and let stand 1 hour.

  • Step 2: Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

  • Step 4: Add the apple mix to the dry ingredients, then add the egg mixture along with the vanilla and the raisins.
