  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • ¼ cup evaporated milk
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of celery salt
  • Pinch of garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 ounces Swiss or Gouda cheese (or other snappy cheese)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook and drain spinach (or broccoli), reserving liquid.

  • Step 2: Melt butter, add flour, and cook onion in it till soft.

  • Step 5: Add seasonings and cheese in pieces.

  • Step 6: When cheese is melted, stir in the spinach (or broccoli).

  • Step 7: Refrigerate and serve cold.
