Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper,minced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper,chopped
  • 1 box (8 ounces) dry large shell macaroni
  • 1 can( 6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans ,drained
  • 1/4 cup frozen corn
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese,shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook pasta to al dente

  • Step 2: Meanwhile

  • Step 3: Cook ground beef with peppers and onions

  • Step 4: Drain if you need to

  • Step 5: Add tomato paste ,seasonings and cook a minute

  • Step 6: Rinse out tomato paste with a little water

  • Step 7: Add canned items and corn

  • Step 8: Fold in pasta and pour into pam sprayed casserole

  • Step 9: Mix 1/2 the cheese

  • Step 10: Bake 350 for 20 minutes covered

  • Step 11: Uncover add rest of cheese bake 20 more minutes
