Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 baked (4.4 ounces) pie shell (9-inch)
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened (= 1 small package)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cups whole strawberries, cleaned
  • 1 scant cup currant jelly

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix cream cheese with lemon juice.

  • Step 2: Whip cream and add sugar gradually.

  • Step 3: Fold whipped cream and sugar mixture into cheese mixture and spread in cooled pastry shell.

  • Step 4: Arrange berries upright over mixture, to completely cover top of pie.

  • Step 5: Melt jelly and pour over berries.

  • Step 6: Refrigerate until set, at least 2 hours.
