  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, pinch of
  • 1 garlic clove, cut in half
  • ½ cup lettuce, coarsely cut (more if wanted)
  • 3 ounces pitted black olives (or to taste, = 8 pitted olives--may be chopped)
  • 6 ounces tomato, sliced (= 1 medium tomato)
  • 1 egg (hard-cooked egg, sliced)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 ounce anchovy fillets (= 2 - 4 fillets, optional)
