  • 6 tablespoons water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • Salt, pinch of
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ tablespoon vanilla

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt chocolate squares in 6 tablespoons water over very low heat, stirring till smooth. A double boiler works best.

  • Step 2: Add sugar and salt.

  • Step 4: Stir in butter and vanilla.

  • Step 5: This makes 1 cup.
