  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 can (46 ounces) v-8 juice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (15 ounces) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 ounces ) chopped green chilies
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans
  • 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans

How to Make

  • Step 1: In stockpot

  • Step 2: Cook ground beef, onions,celery and peppers until softened

  • Step 3: Add spices

  • Step 4: Add beef broth

  • Step 5: Then add juice and canned goods

  • Step 6: Wash out canned goods with a little water to get all product out

  • Step 7: Simmer for 60 minutes stirring as needed

  • Step 8: Cook until thickened
