Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 7 ounces dark chocolate (or bittersweet chocolate), broken into pieces (this is about 200 grams)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cubed (about 200 grams or 7 ounces)
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • Hazelnuts, chopped (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In the top of a double boiler or using a heatproof bowl or pan on top of a pan of boiling water, add the chocolate.

  • Step 2: Add butter to the chocolate and stir to melt chocolate. When melted add the sweetened condensed milk.

  • Step 3: Stir in hazelnuts if using , stirring into everything is smooth and evenly distributed. Spoon into clean glass jars, cover and leave to cool. Store in a cool place for up to 2 weeks.
