Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 125 grams butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins (sultanas, dried)
  • 100 grams chocolate chips (Cadbury of course)
  • 2 1/2 cups Corn Flakes Cereal (more may be needed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy then add the egg and beat well.

  • Step 2: Stir in flour, vanilla and then add the sultanas and chocolate chips.

  • Step 3: Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture into the cornflakes and roll to coat.

  • Step 4: Place on a greased baking tray and repeat with the remaining mixture.

  • Step 5: Bake the biscuits in a moderate oven 180°C for 15-20 minutes or until cooked.

  • Step 6: Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack.

  • Step 7: Cool and serve or store the biscuits in an airtight container until required.
