Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 to 3 pounds pork tenderloin (cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes, 1.1 to 1.4 kg)
  • Marinade
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon liquid honey
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger root
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil (dark)
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime zest

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together all the marinade ingredients until well blended.

  • Step 2: Reserve 1/4 cup marinade for basting kabobs.

  • Step 3: Seal bag and turn several times to coat pork evenly with marinade.

  • Step 4: Refrigerate for 1 - 4 hours.

  • Step 5: Preheat grill to medium-high.

  • Step 6: Thread pork cubes onto skewers and discard marinade in bag.

  • Step 7: Lightly oil grill racks.

  • Step 8: Grill kabobs for about 8 minutes total, turning every 2 minutes or so.

  • Step 9: Baste generously with the reserved marinade during the last minute of cooking time.

  • Step 10: Really soak them with sauce.

  • Step 11: Serve hot.
