Step 10: And roll out the dough.
Step 11: Using a doughnut cutter
Step 12: Cut out doughnut shapes from the dough.
Step 13: Heat the vegetable oil or lard until it reaches approximately 375 degrees.
Step 14: Carefully place each doughnut into the oil, frying on each side until the doughnut is a light golden color.
Step 15: Sprinkle on powdered sugar or drizzle with honey.
Step 16: They are also good plain.
