Step 1: Lightly grease a 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
Step 2: In a large bowl combine the cereal with oats.
Step 3: In a medium saucepan combine butter with brown sugar and corn syrup stirring over medium heat; bring just to a full boil stirring constantly, then remove from heat and immediately mix in vanilla then the peanut butter until smooth and blended.
Step 4: Pour over the cereal mixture and mix using a wooden spoon until well combined. Transfer to prepared baking pan. Allow to firm up slightly at room temperature then refrigerate.
