Step 1: In a skillet over medium-high heat heat the oil and then add the sausage and cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Stir in shallots and garlic and cook another 30 seconds. Stir in broth and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Add both beans and return to a simmer; cover and cook for 5 minutes or until done.
Step 3: Stir in tomatoes and parsley.
