Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened (a bit over 2 sticks of butter)
  • 3/4 cup fine sugar (or sift regular white sugar)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • Green food color
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts (non-salted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: In the bowl of an electric mixer cream butter until smooth and then add the sugars and beat again. Add eggs one at a time and then add the vanilla and salt and mix until light. Add a few drops of green food color.

  • Step 3: In another bowl sift together the dry ingredients (flour - baking soda) and then add the dry to the creamed ingredients and mix until combined. DO NOT OVERMIX.

  • Step 4: Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

  • Step 5: Scoop dough and place on parchment lined or buttered baking sheets.

  • Step 6: Bake for 10-15 minutes.
