Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup onion ,sliced
  • 4 tablespoons corn oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 6 (48 ounces) round steak,(8 ounces each)
  • 1 teaspoons seasoned salt ,to taste
  • 8 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup v-8 cocktail juice
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 cup celery, julienned
  • 1/2 cup leeks,julienned
  • 2 tablespoons parsley,minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon oil

  • Step 2: Saute onions until golden

  • Step 3: Remove from heat add thyme

  • Step 4: Set aside

  • Step 5: Season steaks on both side and dust with flour on both sides

  • Step 6: Heat remaining oil in pan

  • Step 7: Brown steaks on both sides

  • Step 8: Transfer steaks to onion pan

  • Step 9: Add juice and broth cover with tinfoil

  • Step 10: Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour

  • Step 11: Add vegetables

  • Step 12: Cover and bake 30 more minutes until tender

  • Step 13: Sprinkle with parsley
