Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 package (8 ounces ) 6 inch corn tortillas
  • 1 cup oil
  • Salsa:
  • 4 anaheim chilies ,roasted, peeled, diced
  • 4 jalapenos chilies,roasted, peeled, diced
  • 6 green onions,minced
  • 1 clove garlic,smashed
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup tomatoes,chopped
  • 2 cups lettuce, shaved
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese,shredded
  • 1/2 cup avocado, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Salsa:

  • Step 2: Add the chilies and onions and garlic in bowl

  • Step 3: Toss

  • Step 4: In blender

  • Step 5: Add canned tomato water and seasoning

  • Step 6: Pulse until mixed

  • Step 7: Pour over veggies in bowl

  • Step 8: Toss

  • Step 9: Heat oil

  • Step 10: Mix a teaspoon of garlic salt in ground beef

  • Step 11: Spread raw beef thinly on one 1/2 the corn tortillas

  • Step 12: Heat the tortilla in oil then fold the tortilla in half

  • Step 13: Fry until crisp

  • Step 14: Add cheese immediately after fried

  • Step 15: Add lettuce and tomatoes

  • Step 16: Add salsa

  • Step 17: Add avocados
