Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 dried ancho peppers, seeds and stem removed
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 to 1 1/4 pounds pork loin chops (4 chops, fat trimmed, 1/2 inch thick)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Using scissors cut the cleaned ancho peppers into small pieces, pour boiling water over them, soak for an hour or until the pieces are pliable

  • Step 2: In a blender or food processor blend together the onion, tomato sauce, vinegar, flour, oregano, cumin, garlic and steeped ancho pepper pieces. Process until you have a smooth sauce

  • Step 3: Pour the sauce into a skillet, put in the chops, flip them to coat both sides, cover the pan, simmer for approximately 45 minutes. Serve and I hope enjoy
