  • 4 pounds beef filet mignon
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 ounces bacon
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Mushroom:
  • 2 pounds mushrooms, whole
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 teaspoon sherry

How to Make

  • Step 1: Marinate the steak overnite in sherry and lemon juice, (or at least hour) season salt and pepper

  • Step 2: In ziploc bag

  • Step 3: Wrap filet with bacon use toopucks to hold

  • Step 4: Broil on high 8 minutesturning 1/2 way

  • Step 5: Then broil on low 8 minutes more

  • Step 6: Mushroom:

  • Step 7: Heat mushrooms in butter

  • Step 8: Add flour

  • Step 9: Stock lemon juice and sherry

  • Step 10: Cook until tender

  • Step 11: Serve around steak

  • Step 12: Take out toothpicks

  • Step 13: Butter steak in pats

  • Step 14: Season steak and mushrooms
