Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 green peppers, cut in julienne strips
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cup chicken stock,hot
  • 1 pound cooked turkey, cut in julienne strips
  • 1/4 pound smoked ham, cut in julienne strips
  • 1 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 10 ounces dry egg noodles,thin
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup saltine crackers, crushed

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in three-quart saucepan.

  • Step 2: Add green peppers and simmer covered for five minutes.

  • Step 3: Add flour and stir well.

  • Step 4: Add chicken stock and bring sauce to boil.

  • Step 5: Cook sauce for five minutes or until smooth.

  • Step 6: Add ham, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, turkey, and white pepper and bring to second boil.

  • Step 7: Add milk gradually while stirring. Simmer for five minutes.

  • Step 8: Cook noodles seven minutes and drain. Place in a greased shallow casserole.

  • Step 9: Top with turkey mixture.

  • Step 10: Sprinkle with grated cheese and (6)crackers into crumbs.

  • Step 11: Bake in 375 degree F oven for 30 minutes or till lightly browned.
