The ingredients are:
  • 8 ounces dry butter beans
  • 2 pounds ham ,cut in chunks
  • 2 pounds potatoes,peeled, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley,minced
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 cup onions,chopped
  • Bott boi noodles:
  • 6 cups flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 4 teaspoons shortening
  • 2 1/2 cups water

How to Make

  • Step 1: In stock pot add ham and beans and onions with the water season

  • Step 2: Cook for 2 hours

  • Step 3: Add parsley and potatoes

  • Step 4: Start making noodles

  • Step 5: Mix water, salt and eggs with softened shortening

  • Step 6: Add flour

  • Step 7: Rollout on floured board a thin rectangle

  • Step 8: Cut in 1 inch rectangles

  • Step 9: Drop into rolling boil bean pot

  • Step 10: As many noodles as you want

  • Step 11: Cook until noodles float
