  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 8 ounces shrimp or prawns, chopped
  • 1 cup green cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 6 shallots, fine chopped
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 (4 ounce) package spring roll wrappers or wonton wrappers

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the ground pork in a skillet and stir fry it until fully cooked, cool

  • Step 2: Mix all the ingredients together, except wrappers, mix well

  • Step 3: Place a teaspoon of the mixture in the center of each wrapper, bring the sides up toward the center, pleating them in small folds, making a little purse, or fold the wrap over the filling and crimp the edges

  • Step 4: You may now freeze them or continue on with the recipe

  • Step 5: Heat oven to 400 f. Place the wraps on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes turning them once. They should be golden. Serve warm
