Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1 inch chunks)
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch (for dusting)
  • 2 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves ,smashed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root (smashed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry ginger
  • 1 package (16 ounces) mushrooms (button mushrooms ,whole or quartered)
  • 2 cups zucchini (sliced in 1 inch pieces)
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds

How to Make

  • Step 1: In brown paper bag, add in the cornstarch. Add in the chicken pieces then shake to coat

  • Step 2: Add vegetable and sesame oil to the wok and fry chicken pieces until golden brown.

  • Step 3: Remove and drain on paper towels.

  • Step 4: Add zucchini and mushrooms to the wok and stir fry for a few minutes.

  • Step 5: Add soy sauce, vinegar, minced fresh garlic, and gingers to the wok stirring to coat and stir fry until mushrooms and zucchini are fully cooked.

  • Step 6: Add chicken back in

  • Step 7: Add sesame seeds

  • Step 8: Chicken stock stir in a teaspoon of cornstarch from bag

  • Step 9: Add to wok

  • Step 10: Stir until thickened
