Step 2: Secure with toothpicks
Step 3: Heat bacon grease
Step 4: Season flour and dust meat
Step 5: Add to grease along with onions
Step 6: Brown
Step 7: Remove and take out all but 1 tablespoons grease
Step 8: Add 1 tablespoon of dusting flour
Step 9: Brown
Step 10: Add beef consomme and wine
Step 11: Stir
Step 12: Add beef and onions back in
Step 13: Cover
Step 14: Simmer 2 hours until beef is tender
Step 15: Take toothpicks out before serving
