Step 1: Dissolve package with salt and boiling water. Add ice water; Stir
Step 2: Chill until slightly thickened
Step 3: Set bowl firmly in bowl of ice and salted water
Step 4: Beat with egg beater until fluffy and thick
Step 5: Then whip cream. Add to jello along with the jam; beat until blended
Step 6: Chill in mold until firm
Step 7: Unmold (they had whipped cream on top and bottom with fruit on top)
