Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 package (8 ounces) spring roll wrappers
  • 1 egg white
  • Filling:
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon 5 spice powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 shallot ,minced
  • 1 clove garlic,smashed
  • 1/4 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup bean threads
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Soak bean threads in warm water until soft

  • Step 2: Mix pork with seasoning and sauces

  • Step 3: Drain the threads, then mince up into 1/2 inch pieces

  • Step 4: Mix into the meat mixure

  • Step 5: Along with garlic shallots and carrots

  • Step 6: To make egg roll:

  • Step 7: Egg roll wrapping steps (from left to right):

  • Step 8: Lay wrapper on plate and fold bottom corner

  • Step 9: Spread spoonful of mix evenly on top of corner

  • Step 10: Roll mix forward so it touches wrap & tuck edges in

  • Step 11: Fold over 1 side

  • Step 12: Fold over other side creating "envelope shape",

  • Step 13: Roll mix forward once, use back of spoon (or brush) to apply small amount of egg white onto edges as a sealer

  • Step 14: Roll forward to complete egg roll

  • Step 15: Deep Fry until golden brown
