Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can(16 ounces)peach halves,undrained
  • 2 cans (40 ounces) pineapple slices, undrained (20 ounces each)
  • 1 can(29 ounce)pear halves, in natural juice,undrained
  • 1 jar (14 ounces)apple rings
  • 1 can (16 ounces)apricot halves, undrained
  • 4 teaspoons flour
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 3/4 cup fruit juices ,from above
  • 1/4 cup cooking sherry

How to Make

  • Step 1: Drain and save fruit juices except apple rings (use small amount).

  • Step 2: Arrange fruit in alternate layers in large 9"x13" casserole dish.

  • Step 3: Combine brown sugar, butter, juice and sherry in saucepan.

  • Step 4: Cook, stirring over low heat until smooth and thick.

  • Step 5: Pour mixture over fruit.

  • Step 6: Cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight.

  • Step 7: Before serving. heat in 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly, about 25 minutes. This keeps well and may be reheated.
