Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 500 grams camembert cheese
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 50 grams almonds, flaked
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs, fresh
  • 4 tablespoons butter, for frying, (more may be needed during frying)
  • 1 jar (200 gram) cranberry sauce (for serving)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix the almonds and breadcrumbs together.

  • Step 2: Cut the camembert cheese into 18 small wedges.

  • Step 3: Coat the camembert cheeses in flour, egg, then almond/breadcrumb mixture.

  • Step 4: Repeat the dipping into the egg and crumbs again. Place on a plate and chill well.

  • Step 5: When the camembert is well chilled; ~ Fry wedges in butter until golden brown.

  • Step 6: Drain on absorbent paper and serve with cranberry sauce.
