Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1.1 kg carrots ( trimmed and peeled, cut into batons, 2 & 1/2 pound carrots)
  • 50 grams butter (1 & 3/4 ounce butter)
  • 1 teaspoon demerara sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley (fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (fresh)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Boil the carrot in a saucepan of salted water for until nearly cooked and then drain. This should take 10-12 minutes.

  • Step 2: Return the carrots to the saucepan with the butter, sugar and parsley and cook over a medium heat , stirring often for about 10 minutes, or until the carrots caramelize.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
