The ingredients are:
  • 3 ounces bacon, diced (3 slices)
  • 1 package (4 ounce) dried beef (chipped)
  • 1 can (12 ounce) sliced mushrooms (drained)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 275 degree

  • Step 2: Sauté bacon, chipped beef and mushrooms in butter

  • Step 3: Add flour and milk. Cook until thickened. Put aside.

  • Step 4: Scramble the eggs, evaporated milk and salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 5: After cooked, alternate layers of eggs and meat mixture in a 9-by-13 baking dish.

  • Step 6: Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour.
