  • 1 pounds beef round steak (cut into bite size pieces)
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chiles
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup onion ,chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried crushed oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt ,to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
