Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup pecan nuts ( raw)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (pure)
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup butter, softened (salted)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Line cookie sheet with foil or silicone baking mat.

  • Step 3: In small bowl, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar and bourbon with a whisk.

  • Step 4: Add pecans, and stir to coat evenly.

  • Step 5: Transfer nuts to cookie sheet.

  • Step 6: Bake 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until toasted.

  • Step 7: Cool 10 minutes.

  • Step 8: Whip the butter with a hand mixer or stand mixer until fluffy

  • Step 9: Fold the cooled pecans into the whipped butter.

  • Step 10: You can either serve right away, or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
