Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 1/4 cups m&m's, orange colored

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F

  • Step 2: In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugars.

  • Step 3: Mix in the eggs and vanilla.

  • Step 4: In a separate bowl, add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and espresso powder. Mix together well.

  • Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.

  • Step 6: Add the dark chocolate chips and mix them in.

  • Step 7: Add the M&M's and mix them in gently

  • Step 8: Line 2 cookie baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Step 9: Drop by rounded spoonful onto cookie sheets, 2 inches apart

  • Step 10: Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cookies are done/firm around the edges when pressed.

  • Step 11: Remove from oven and cool cookies in the pans for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
