Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 peaches, whole (ripe)
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, superfine (make your own by whisking granulated with a stick blender)
  • 750 milliliters dry wine (1 bottle, white wine, chilled)
  • 1/2 cup brandy (or peach liqueur)
  • 12 ounce water, sparkling
  • 1 peach (whole, sliced, for garnish)
  • Peppermint leaves (fresh, and slices of lemon, for garnish)
  • Raspberries (for garnish, 6-12)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Chop peaches and add to large pitcher along with raspberries. (Leave a few out for garnish)

  • Step 2: Sprinkle with sugar and stir. Let fruit macerate for 1 hour.

  • Step 3: Add wine, brandy, rest of sugar, mint leaves and lemon rounds. Stir gently just to combine.

  • Step 4: Fill glasses with ice, pour in sangria. Add a splash of sparkling water. Garnish with reserved fruit. Salud!
