Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2: In a large bowl mix chopped apples, sugar and cinnamon. Spread evenly in a 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish that has been coated with cooking spray.. Top apples with the dry cake mix making sure there is an even level. Pour melted butter across the top of the cake mix.
Step 3: Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until the cakes is light golden brown and bubbly around the edges. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
