Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons hot red pepper flakes
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled, small or medium shrimp)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 sprigs flat-leaf parsley, chopped, for garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the 4 small or 1 large cazuelas on the stove and add about 3 tablespoons olive oil to each (if using small - use all oil if using large pan)

  • Step 2: When oil is hot, divide garlic and red pepper flakes among cazuelas and stir while cooking for 30 seconds.

  • Step 3: Divide shrimp evenly into each cazuela.

  • Step 4: Cook over high heat for 1 minute, season with salt and stir constantly while shrimp sizzle and turn pink.

  • Step 5: Cook for 1 more minute, or until nearly opaque.

  • Step 6: Remove from heat - the slightly undercooked shrimp will continue to cook in the sizzling dish for another minute.

  • Step 7: Sprinkle shrimp with parsley and serve sizzling.
