Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic,smashed
  • 1/2 cup onions,chopped
  • 2 cups beef stock
  • 1 can (15 ounce) tomato sauce
  • 1 package (8 ounce) dry pasta shells
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper,to taste
  • 1 tablespoons oil
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese ( extra-sharp, shredded)
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta al dente, drain well.

  • Step 2: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.

  • Step 3: Add ground beef and onions and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef

  • Step 4: Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning until soft, about 1 minute. Whisk in flour until lightly browned, about 1 minute.

  • Step 5: Gradually whisk in beef stock and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until reduced and slightly thickened, about 6-8 minutes.

  • Step 6: Stir in pasta, heavy cream until heated through, about 2 minutes, season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  • Step 7: Remove from heat then stir in cheese. Cover let set 5 minutes
