The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 head garlic, peeled and finely chopped (not a clove but a whole head)
  • 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup basil, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 (36 ounces) boneless skinless chicken breasts (6 ounces each)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, zest, garlic, green onion, parsley, basil, salt and pepper. Pour into gallon-size zip-top bag. Add chicken and marinate 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 12 hours in the refrigerator (remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before grilling).

  • Step 2: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and place on lightly oiled grill, cooking 5-8 minutes per side, or until chicken reaches a safe internal temperature of 165°F. Let chicken rest 3-5 minutes before serving. Refrigerate any leftovers.
