  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 3/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil (cooking oil)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large bowl, mix the green cabbage and the green pepper.

  • Step 2: In a saucepan, mix the sugar, salt, dry mustard, and celery seed.

  • Step 3: Next, add the oil and the vinegar. Let it all come to a boil over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly.

  • Step 4: Pour the liquid over the cabbage mixture, blending it all together.
