Ingredients
- 1 jar (2 pounds)sauerkraut, drained
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3 pounds beef stew meat
- 1/2 cup onions,sliced
- 1 cup apple, peeled and grated
- 1 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup water boiling
How to Make

Step 1: In crockpot lay

Step 2: 1/2 the sauerkraut on bottom

Step 3: Sprinkle with flour.

Step 4: Add the meat, onion, apple, and sugar. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 5: Lay remaining sauerkraut on top of meat.

Step 6: Add boiling water, just to cover and cook for 4 hours slowly over low heat.
