Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans,chopped
  • 1 cup apples, peeled, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  • Step 2: With rotary hand mixer beat the eggs

  • Step 3: Until creamy

  • Step 4: Add sugar,salt, vanilla baking powder and flour

  • Step 5: Fold in apples and nuts

  • Step 6: Pour into well buttered pam sprayed 9x9 pan

  • Step 7: Bake 45 minutes until golden brown

  • Step 8: Chill overnight and then cut into 8 squares and removd with pancake turner

  • Step 9: Whip the cream,sugar and extract and serve on top of bars
