Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F
Step 2: Grease and dust two 8X 8 cake pans with cocoa.
Step 3: Cream butter and add sugar a little at a time.
Step 4: Cream well; add eggs.
Step 5: Sift flour, salt, soda and cocoa together 3 times.
Step 6: Add coffee to batter alternatively with flour mixture.
Step 7: Then add vinegar and vanilla.
Step 8: Pour into the 2 pans ,they had only 1 mentioned but i think from timing baking and overflow this was a layer cake
Step 9: Bake at 350 degrees about 30 to 40 minutes. Check a little sooner having split the batter
Step 10: Everyone said it was excellent cake flavor wise
