  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 pounds bone in pork chops
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups onions,chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 1⁄2 cups apple cider

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt butter in skillet

  • Step 2: Add pork chops, season to taste

  • Step 3: Brown on both sides

  • Step 4: Remove.

  • Step 5: Add celery, onions and bay leaf to skillet, saute until light brown.

  • Step 6: Add curry powder heat it

  • Step 7: Add cider,

  • Step 8: Add pork chops back to skillet, simmer

  • Step 9: Reducing by half ,until cooked through, about 20 minutes
