Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 (24 to 36 ounces) sole fish fillets (or flounder fillets, 4-6 ounce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, dry
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Oil or use cooking spray in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

  • Step 2: Season fish with salt and pepper; fold each fillet in half crosswise (tip to tip). Arrange in the baking dish and then drizzle the wine and lemon juice over the fish.

  • Step 3: In a cup or bowl combine breadcrumbs, parsley and oregano; and pour over fish (try to have an even amount over each fillet) and then drizzle with the olive oil.

  • Step 4: Bake for 15 minutes or until fish is done (fish flakes when pieced with tip of knife). Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
