  • 2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoons dried minced onion flakes
  • 1 tube (12 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 4 ounces American cheese (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles (chopped, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2: Lightly spray a 8x8-in. baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.

  • Step 3: In a skillet,

  • Step 4: Brown and crumble the ground beef with onion and dry onion soup mix.

  • Step 5: Drain meat into a colander

  • Step 6: Using paper towels press down on the beef and squeeze out as much of the liquid as possible.

  • Step 7: Unroll 1/2 tube of crescent rolls into the prepared baking dish.

  • Step 8: Flatten slightly to seal the seams and cover the bottom as necessary.

  • Step 9: Top with ground beef.

  • Step 10: Add cheese slices.

  • Step 11: Top with pickles and drizzle with mustard.

  • Step 12: Then the ketchup

  • Step 13: Unroll the rest of crescent rolls over the top, sealing seams and covering the contents in the pan.

  • Step 14: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted
