The ingredients are:
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened (I use 1/2 Becel (unsalted )and 1/2 avocado oil)
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 pounds sole fish (fillets)
  • Fresh dill and lemon wedges, optional

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a small bowl, combine the butter, dill, onion powder, garlic powder, salt if desired and pepper.

  • Step 2: Transfer to a large skillet; heat on medium heat until melted.

  • Step 3: Add the sole and saute several minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

  • Step 4: Remove sole from pan and keep warm.

  • Step 5: Add some fresh lemon juice to pan and whisk until combined; add seasoning as needed.

  • Step 6: Drizzle sauce over sole and serve.

  • Step 7: Garnish with dill and lemon if desired.
