Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 bread slices (Cinnamon bread sliced thick)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier (optional or liquer of your choice)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Arrange bread in a 9 inch x 12 inch pan. Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, salt and Grand Marnier if using. Pour mixture over bread and refrigerate overnight.

  • Step 2: Saute in hot butter until bottom is golden brown; Turn and brown the other side. Repeat with each bread slice. Serve individually or keep warm and serve family style. Garnish with whipped cream, fresh berries, mint and a light sprinkle of icing sugar
