  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How to Make

  • Step 1: Melt chocolate and butter in microwave 10 seconds until soft; add rum, then beat in sugar. Gently fold in eggs.

  • Step 2: Sift the dry ingredients together. Gently fold into wet ingredients. Pour into a buttered Pam-sprayed aluminum pie pan; allow to rest for half an hour.

  • Step 3: Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or so. That’s what the recipe says, but check at 30 minutes with toothpick
