Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup onions,chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces frozen mixed vegetables
  • 8 ounces Velveeta cheese (cubed)
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon Worcesterhire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon parsley ,minced
  • 8 ounces hot dogs (cut in coins)
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How to Make

  • Step 1: In 3 tablespoons butter fry the onions and celery until tender

  • Step 2: Add flour and mustard cook until just browned. Add Broth

  • Step 3: Add vegetables and parsley. Stir

  • Step 4: Add cheese and milk and Worcestershire sauce. While heating and thickening

  • Step 5: In saute pan, fry coins of hot dogs in butter until browned

  • Step 6: Serve on top of soup
