Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1.2 kilogram beef rump steak (in one big piece)
  • 1/2 cup herbs, chopped (they specified a handful), eg thyme, rosemary or parsley
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • TO SERVE
  • Chimichurri sauce
  • Charred corn salsa
  • Salad (potato, carrot and onion salad was suggested)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Lube steak with a splash of olive oil and then rub down with herbs, garlic and seasoning and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour - bringing on to the bench after 30 minutes to get to room temperature.

  • Step 2: Grill over decent heat until you are happy - keep an eye on it and pull it away from hot spots if it starts to flare up and burn - about 10 minutes either side and don't forget to rest meat for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
